Hello,

Been out of touch with the community for a while. Can anyone give me some info about something I found on eBay.. I searched for "New Order DVD" and found 3 or 4 copies of something called "The Best of New Order" - a DVD, with like a dozen or so New Order videos.

Wondering if someone would kindly tell me what the scoop is on this "release".. i.e. is it a bootleg of sorts? How is the quality of the content/video quality/audio quality.

I have "Substance" videos on VHS, and ever since I have had a DVD player I have been looking for something along those lines on DVD. (I have 511 and 316, but would like videos on DVD).

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Digital Mike can get you all the New Order DVD's you need in exchange for a pair of Juliette Binoche's soiled panties.

See the Buy/Trade/Sell forum.

"Theyre afraid of what they see..." was an official VHS release in 1994. It has the same sleeve as best of? but im pretty sure the DVD is a blag one. Its been on there for months (the picture has Bodek printed across it?). its more than likely a copy of the VHS.

It also was released on laserdisc. The bootleg would be decent quality if this was the source.

I won the dvd from the guy from Cincinnati. I love my dvd I watch it over & over :thumb:

Its "There afraid of what they see" taken from the Japanese laser disk, Crystal 1 & 2 taken from the Crystal dvd single. 60 mph taken from the dvd single. Here to stay taken from the dvd single. Temptation 98 taken from the uk 3:16 dvd.

Over all, very good dvd. If your dvd player is cheap, it might have problems with the burned dvd. Alot of skipping will happen. The case is cheap, I just made my own. There are pauses after each song were he made chapters. It has a cheap menu (no photo) The picture quality is exellent! but the sound quality is not even, some songs are higher volume then others.

I would be interested in some of Mikes dvd's but always had trouble opening his file attachment. If somebody could cut & paste what he has and what it would take to get a copy that would be great!
