Not bad at all! Doves did a good job and it was nice to hear Barney still has it - that chorus never fails to put a smile on my face.

now, where these guys took this crazy idea of an acoustic version?

How ironic that Doves are involved here - if you listen to the chorus to their brilliant song "Pounding" - you can almost literally sing the chorus to "BLT" over the top of it - the first four chords are identical. 
The guitar is great, it's a good replacement for the keyboard, better than the Frente version, which was already good, but a bit poor instrumentally... Barney's vocals are indeed worrying, though... I hope it's just the effect of the Real Audio...
well, i really liked the way Bernard sung this one. i´m sure he recorded it at first take so that explains he miss the tune on a few high notes (he seems more playing around than actually singing). but the WAY he sung that i liked. good vibes!

I quite enjoy it actually, it's been playing non-stop...
Barney's vocals ARE definitly not his best on this one... he sings much better on the original version, which was in 1986, at a time when Bernard's singing was much worst overall, at least outside the studio.
Nobody's perfect, but.... eeeeeesh... if I were him, I would re-do that one...
Maybe he will try something like this on the next tour, just to change things up a little? That would be a nice suprise.

great guitar work, but Barney's vocals are indeed a bit concerning... maybe they had better tried an acoustic version of "love vigilantes" instead...
