”So we've actually got 20 or 21 backing tracks written but of course I've got to catch up on the vocals and it's a lot harder work writing the vocals than writing the music, I can tell you."

Shall we get a fund together so we can send up a couple of crates of Pernod? :D

You'd really send a relatively-famous musician whose made a fair amount of money a couple of crates of Pernod?

Tell you what, after that, why not mail some diamond ear-rings to Bill Gates? Tsk tsk tsk...

Yes, aniseed. Schoolboy folklore states that it lives as crystals in your blood so that when you sober up a drink of water makes you drunk again. It's classy booze - even if you mix it with blackcurrant cordial and drop it into a pint of stella. Water's the classic mixer, but a drop of lemonade works well. Not diet though - that would taste horrible.

That was humour? Ooooookay...

Sumner's getting on in years now, he'd probably just like a nice cup of tea, maybe a plain biscuit or two.

Egads I hope not. We might end up with songs about how the new 5p coins are too fiddly or how he remembers when all this was still trees... And instead of the music being picked up for idents for cool channels it will end up being all over adverts for chairlifts and those bizzare motorized armchairs that make old grannies look like Davros...
