Here in Oz & NZ it has become a fairly common word in place of worse terms. Heck ( here I go again) it even appears in TV car ads.

Yep they come on here and have promised to play all the songs we ask them to play at their next gig in Cardiff, well about 10 anyway..

This car ad is hilarious, it should win an award. The word bugger is said about six times in six different scenes. Love it.

The dog in the Toyota ad died a couple of days ago. His name was Hercules and he did more videos than New Order. Wasn't as good at swearing though.

I'm sorry to hear that. For those who haven't seen it. The dog at the end of the ad says "bugger".
