I just bought the 60 mph single on 2xCD and DVD. Was it £7.50 well spent? Well, I just listened to that awful Supermen lovers mix and i'm half way through the passable mix of SLY. My full opinion in about 30 minutes.....

how about everyone else who bought it today, what do you think?

...i would like to tell you...but i wasn't very lucky today...i drove to Frankfurt very early in the morning but none of these f****** record stores offered the single. I even doubt that the single was released in Germany today... :evil:

What about "Sabotage" ? Is it the same song as "River runs dry" ??? What kind of style are the remixes ???

The Superman Lovers' mix was the only mix I was looking forward to..is it really that bad?

Sabotage is the same as 'Run This River Dry', well it's sung near the end. Its quite a good song and is way better than a certain few tracks on the album.

The mixes are the usual mix of utter shite and half decent. The supermen lovers mix has too many annoying bleepy bits. The Funk D'Void mix of SLY is ok though.

Not available in Holland, i guess tomorrow in A'dam or R'dam.Not that i am running to the shop! I've kind of had it with all these fucking remixes.I'll just wait another week and then it will also be at the general CDshops like Free Record and shit like that. Although i still haven't heard Sabotage, but i'll wait. Fucking hell, have i got a bad day today.

I'm ANGRY :evil: !!!

I've just found out that the "60 miles an hour" single is only going to be ONE CD in Germany! The www.wea.de site tells me that it's only a single 3-Track issue with three songs:

60 miles an hour (radio edit)
60 miles an hour (supermen lovers remix)
Someone like you (Funk da whatever mix...)

No "Sabotage"...

That SUCKS !!! :(

Pile of shite..Why the fuck do they keep doing these shite remixes..none of them were any good, it was the same with Crystal (except Lee Coombs) Ruined, Spooky....need I go on? Just wish they'd stick to 1 good CD, because the market these fucking things are aimed at are not interested (clubbers)...Rant over!!

After a couple of listens last night, have to agree its much as expected but I'd give

60mph Radio Edit 3/10. Shit- sounds so much better on the album somehow.

Sabotage: 8/10 Good tune, a bit different, certainly better than Slow Jam or SLY in my opinion.

Funk D'void remix: 8/10 I like it a lot - not full on 4 to the floor, retains many parts of the original, doesn't try and lazily put the vocals on top

60mph S'Lovers mix 2/10. Awful. What a mess.

James Holden mix: 7/10 Again I like this - would sound good at 3am in a club. Can't see anyone else liking it much though

Futureshock 4/10. Lazy and uninspired. Just about Listenable though

Well, my set was shipped yesterday; looking forward to getting them. However, with Thursday and Friday holidays, probably won't come til next week.
