I don't have much by JD/NO vinyl collection is growing: Singles:- Love Will Tear Us Apart 12" (1980 release) Attomopshere/She's Lost Control (Factus) UK Release 12" True Faith/1963 12" single (1987) Round and Round 7" Love Will Tear Us Apart '95 12" Blue Monday '95 12"

Albums: Unkown Pleasures 12" (1979 release) New Order Substance 1987 twin 12" Technique 12" (1989)

Joy Division Substance CD Power Curruption and Lies CD Closer CD 24HPP Soundtrack CD

Still to get are Movement and Get Ready and probably rebulic. I prefer vinyl though because it sounds better (I'm an audiophile) and just feels more personal.

Hello Ian, since it looks like you're fairly new to these boards, check out what everybody else has in what's got to be the longest thread here I think....

My collection? It's easier to just say - 'at least three copies of every official release, plus everything else'

No, I'm not Davide Sultana

About five years ago the second hand record shop in Dundee (Grouchos anyone?) had a massive influx of practically mint New Order/Electronic 12" vinyl... Most were going for a pound or two each so I couldn't resist snapping up as many as I could. Here's what I managed to get, along with my complete NO-related vinyl collection so far.

All in all it's not a bad little collection considering I'm not a hardcore vinyl buyer, although I'm sure there are other NOOLers who have mountains more ;) I try not to pay too much money for vinyl because I basically don't play it at all, however the big artwork covers are brilliant to have and I don't think I will ever part with them. My favourite artworks from the above lot include Fine Time, Regret, Ruined in a day, and Round & Round. From the side projects, the Revenge stuff is basically soft porn ;) but good to have since it can be quite rare. The Music for pleasure artwork is also a personal favourite as I have a big poster of it on my wall. The Electronic 'Electromix' 12" is great too, classy Saville design.

I really must sit down one day and archive all my NO-related Vinyl/CD stuff.. chuck it in a spreadsheet or something, I really don't want to lose anything! As N21 will confirm I am still kicking myself for parting with the Yellow Electronic "Until The End Of Time" CD single in a '97 trade  but cheers for helping me out with a perfect a audio copy mate :thumb: hehe.

Cheers, Ally.

PS. If anyone out there has a copy of Monaco's ultra rare "Shattered" 12" promo that was given away at a 97 gig (can't remember which one) and is willing to part with it for a fair price, drop me a line! Even if it's just to communicate sleeve info etc.
