Hmmmmm. Trick un that. How do they know it's going to go in the top 20 anyway? It won't!! The Charlatans are going to go top 20, New Order will be very lucky to even get top 30. Perhaps it's just a sick joke. Bit like London Records postponing the single's release for four weeks, due to reasons only evident to themselves. What a load of shit!
I remember Barney saying that aswell.These days major bands tend to do two numbers for TOTP in one go. So they probably knew what the next single would be and did that as a second take for TOTP - to use should it chart.
