Actually, does anyone remember the official New Order football shirt which was issued in around 1990? Perhaps just later?
Long-sleeved with red and sky blue quarters (a la Blackburn Rovers) to indicate both sides of the city.
Horrendous it was, well nasty.
It's a bloody fake, anyone with two functioning brain cells can see that.
Factory were too trendy to sponsor such a corporate giant of a club like Manchester Utd. Rochdale or Oldham are more that label's scene...

It isnt a fake-it was issued by Factory in summer 1991 to celebrate United winning the European Cup Winners Cup. Come on,someone on here must know about this.

Actually I ahem.. bought one. Worn it twice. Might wear it when I do the decorating though!!
I seemed to remember it being quartered, but halved is just as bad - what were they thinking with them sleeves?!
Proof in the pudding that Factory weren't as cool as everyone likes to remember! ;)

actually that makes me want one of the old navy blue t shirts with the Factory logo on.Where can i get one of those?.I never had one.Then again these days most 20 somethings would think a blue t shirt with Factory on was just another trendy clothes name and not the name of the coolest and most cutting edge record label of all time.Oh well.

For those not in the know, Manchester United's current Club Crest simply says "Manchester United". The words "Football Club" were dropped by the plc a few years ago, as they maintain it ensures "global branding" of all products.
Most supporters constantly bemoan such corporate whoring of the Club, and would love to see the old badge back on the shirt...
And whose idea was that? Peter "I'm a lifelong Red, me" Kenyon, who promptly f**ked off at the first sniff of a few roubles. Wait for Chelsea's badge in a season or 2: a lion with a 'C' underneath. 
Should have expected nothing less from a man who left a similar postion at Umbro to take up the job at OT then negotiate a kit deal with his previous employers' biggest rivals. To be honest, I'd like to own that NO shirt. Just for nostalgia purposes, you understand!

Amazing that, a United [ahem]lifelong fan[/ahem] jumping ship for another team who are (a) richer and (b) better.
Wilsons a big manutd fan, Hookys a big manutd fan, Barneys a manutd fan,Steve and Gillian arent interested in football.
Anyway the band and the bands manager support the team, big deal!! still its something which some people on here find hard to accept!!
