HOOKY'S SYN DRUM

I don't know if this is some elaborate joke, but it seems that everytime I see Blue Monday be it on The Top of The Pops, 316, or 511, there always seems something wrong with the syn drum Hookey gets to bash.

Hooky just needs to get his agression out at having to play a song at EVERY SINGLE SHOW for the last 21 years in which he plays very little bass for most of the duration.

But really, that pad thingus seems to work fine on Pumped Full of Drugs.

Haven't seen PFD, so I didn't know that it worked fine there.

And the Perfect Kiss video, probably had to do a few takes of that part alone.

i don't even think it is connected anymore. it probably isnt even a drum machine, just a red carboard box covered in gaffer tape heheh

The ones in TPK are the same ones in PFD.The question is, how long between the two. in TPK they look quite new, in PFD they are hanging together with gaffer tape.

in £ 16 it's a monitoring problem, he can't hear em. In %11 they're just crap and mounted wrong ( note road filth holding tem steady for him)

I almost looks to me like he fooks up and then tries to cover it by acting like the damn thing doesn't work.
