Can't personally see anything else new coming from Electronic now. I love their first album and I do like both 'Twisted Tenderness'and 'Raise the Pressure'(although I prefer the former and very rarely listen to the latter anymore) but I think the band more or less ran its course.

That would be extremely unfortunate and I hope you're wrong. They need to rethink their plans and heed to their fans. Am I the only one that feels Barny and Marr can potentially make many more kickass albums? Is it ironic that I enjoy Electronic's work more than both New Order and The Smiths?

Nah - yer not on yer own at all. Some of Electronic's stuff is right up there with the best of Joy Division and New Order, in my opinion anyway. I've said it before that some of Barney's great lyrics are hidden away on the Electronic albums. I would always hope to see a Neworder album first though;)

I'm as big a fan as anyone of Twisted Tenderness, but they fucked it right up by "attempting" to release the bland-as-fuck "Late At Night" as a single. No wonder Parlophone never bothered with releasing the proper "LAN" pressed copies in the end. Prodigal Son or Make It Happen were so much better choices. As for Electronic in general, I'd much rather see a new New Order album (which we are seeing at the moment, and hopefully more soon) Marr has so obviously lost his touch and by the sounds of things we'd get a fourth Electronic album full of "Rock The Shacks" which would fuck me right off and show Marr up as the pub rock guitarist he truly seems to be these days. The Marr that existed in The Smiths and during the first Electronic LP is gone it would seem.
If his own "so-called" artistic arrogance that seems to bar him from playing on his vast Smiths/1st album Electronic influences for some fucked up reason. That is his fault, and he deserves the non-entity recognition consequences that arise. Morrissey has had his awful patches but always "remained true" at least. Sorry, but Marr alone has fucked his career, it's down to nobody else and certainly not his fans. I was so bitterly dissapointed in that Healer's lump of shit debut album, and I really do love The Smiths as much as New Order 
The Johnny Marr of that 80s era may as well be dead.

In a GR-era Melbourne street press interview, Barney stated that Electronic are on ice indefinitely.
You'll find plenty of fans of their output on these boards Isamu, however with promotion and touring for WFTSC taking place now and reference to another NO album to follow soon after, the likelihood of another Electronic album is slim.

There are some clunkers on TT, but that ain't one of them :)
For my money, TT is the least of the 3 Electronic albums, and RTP is the best. Their b-sides were often better than the album tracks.
All That I Need, I Feel Alright, Imitation of Life, A New Religion (the best!), and Warning Sign... A+ tracks. Certainly better than Dracula's Castle, but I digress :)

God, they only let Neil on 3 songs. And they are 3 PERFECT songs, if you ask me.
Martin Gore doesn't fit at all with Electronic. If you want some prime Martin Gore backup, buy Client's City album. :)

Getting Away With It and Disappointed were great. Getting Away in particular screams 'Early 90s' for me, dunno if that's a good or bad thing, but catchy nonetheless! I still remember the video and wondering why Bernard was in a straightjacket
