barney and hookey's guitars...

ive been looking around ebay and other places on the web for a couple of these shergold guitars/basses that were used by barney and hook in both JD and new order, like the short scale six string bass, but i cant find anything, or anything similar..

but for you guys in the UK, from what i understand these guitars are common in second hand stores and whatnot in your country, so it looks like im gonna have to import one out of the UK, so could anybody give me some URL's for some good used-gear stores in the UK? or give me some info on similar guitars to the ones the boys(and girl) used?

someone is offering a black 6 string marathon on the forum.

the 6 string bass is by no means common (they only made 95 originally), there were a lot a masqueraders made although you don't see them often.
