My choices are

LWTUA BLT (radio edit) Blue Monday

LWTUA would be the easiest since I can get my voice low enough.

BLT I could insert the Barney Dance

Blue Monday Easier to sing than BLT but many pauses between lyrics.

go for LWTUA, thatd be pretty bitchin, or if possible you could do a medley of all three

I've done BLT...it was loads of fun!!!wouldn't dare to do a Joy Division song...wouldn't do BM...too bloody long, and too many parts where all I would be doing is standing there, looking up at the roof...

Kareoke Advice?

10 pints before getting up.

I have never had the (mis)fortune of seeing the Order in any Kareoke books. Which is just as well (having heard mine and DoN's vocals for the tribute album:lol: )

Saw Crystal on a karaoke machine in 2002 but never did it.

With 10 pints of lager on board, I Left My Heart in San Francisco sounded like the obvious choice.

And it weren't :bag:

The book had just the three above mentioned NO tunes. Looks like the radio edit of BLT will be it. Need to watch 5 11 to get the choreography down.

The only thing I ever did on Karaoke was Common People by Pulp complete with hand movements. I won't be doing it again. :)

I've found that true faith is nice to sing although it's not the easiest. Blue monday is quite easy becasue Barney sings it quite low. BLT is ok but maybe a little too high for me.

Has anyone come across a program called GoldWave. You can add filters that make ure voice sound like you're in concert (echo, reverb) etc... There's also other options to make your voice sound clearer and sharper, like you would hear on a real recording.

Karaoke? I would say take your advice from New Order themselves: 'Don't Do It'.

Been watching 5 11 and practicing The Barney Dance. Should also practice the Dead Fly.

Good luck then. Last time I did karoake, I picked Act Naturally by the Beatles, figured that I couldn't sound any worse than Ringo.

Crystal, and only when very, very drunk

BM could be good, stand there watching the crowd for 130 seconds at the start...

Oh, and theres a good chance of actually finding Crystal on a karaoke machine, e.g. proper backing track and with the lyrics on the screen. No way with BM, and a voice remover is going to destroy the synth.

Chris...you sure that blue monday is the order's version?

I remember when I used to go do this kind of stuff regularly, I got quite excited when I saw blue monday...but then was crestfallen to see that it was Fats Domino...not the order!!!
