Looks like one of those quickie cash-in things, given the author has done the same with Deep Purple, Gothic Rock, David Bowie, Depeche Mode, The Cure (sniggers), and U2's Joshua Tree album (a book about the making of *one* album!?!)...and that's just the first page.
