Is that "findable" anywhere in a CD or just bootleg?

Actually I've been wondering about any repercussions. Weren't Jicael Macson and the Order on the same label in the US (Quest, run by Quincy Jones).
you mean Qwest...come on, get the spelling right...but I don't think Jackson was ever on the label...if I recall correctly, his slop was released on motown and columbia...

Meanwhile, Jackson friend, Macaulay Culkin, defended his long-time pal on "Larry King Live."
"It's a circus right now. Do you think it's a bad rap?" King asked Culkin.
"You know, I think so... Look what happened the first time this happened to him. If someone had done something like that to my kid, I wouldn't settle for some money. I'd make sure the guy was in jail," said Culkin. "It just really goes to show as soon as they got the money they ran."
As for talk of Macaulay being a character witness, he didn't rule it out but would prefer to stay out of it.
"Would you appear[in court]?" inquired King.
"I guess so, but probably not. Like I said, it's crazy nd I don't really want to be a part of it," replied Culkin. "I like him and he's a friend of mine. I'm not saying I wouldn't do something like that. It hasn't been brought up to me."
A stunningly candid Culkin then went out to explain how he and Michael first became friends.
"I first met him and he kind of called me randomly out of the blue, 'Hi it's Michael,'" revealed Culkin. "I actually had met him before I was doing Nutcracker at Lincoln Center. I was playing Fritz and he came backstage one day and I actually met him very briefly then he calls me up kind of out of the blue and it's just this weird, random kind of thing. And he was like, 'Why don't you come over to my house?'"
Macaulay was just 11 years old at the time of their first encounter.
"Why do you think he likes young people so much?" asked King.
"It was the same reason he liked me. I didn't care who he was. That was the thing. I talked to him like he was a normal human being," explained Culkin. "He's just a guy, you know, who's actually very kid-like himself."
Michael took Macaulay to Disneyworld and put the child actor in his 1991 video, "Black or White." McCauley has slept over at Neverland.
"Nothing happened. I mean we played video games," stated Culkin.
"Did he sleep on the bed?" inquired King.
"Well the thing with that whole thing is that they go, 'Oh, you slept in the same bedroom as him.' But it's like I don't think you understand, Michael Jackson's bedroom is two stories and it has like three bathrooms and this and that," revealed Culkin. "So I slept in his bedroom - yeah -- but you have to understand the whole scenario."
The 23-year-old believes that Michael's biggest problem is he's understood.
"He's not very good at explaining himself and he never really has been cause he's not a very social person and so when he says something like that. You know he doesn't quite understand why people react the way they do," said Culkin.
And Macaulay knows a thing or two himself abut media misconception such as wild rumors of his alleged drug and alcohol problems.
"I'm a kid. I had a beer, I smoked a joint -- big deal," said Culkin. "I never had a problem with it."
"So you never had to go to Betty Ford?" asked King.
"No, contrary to popular belief, I've never been to jail or rehab and my parents didn't steal all of my money," said Culkin.

But I have to say, from what I've seen on TV, Michael Jackson looks to me like a retarded person who still think he's 8 years old, and who can't blame him... I wouldn't want to be him, that's for sure... total madness surrounding all his moves, etc... :dead:

On 'Electronic Ecstasy' the offending lines have been faded down, so it's quite difficult to pick out. I was there, and Barney actually sang:

I was there in 1993, and the lines passed most of the audience by, actually. You can hear it very clearly on an audience bootleg tape I have though.

There is a New Order Jikel Mackson link. Quincy Jones produced Triller. So I still wonder if Quincy had a few words to say about the offending lyrics.

Some of MJ's earlier stuff is good but most of it was indeed down to New Order's good mate Quincy Jones wasn't it? He did all the production, wrote and developed most the songs didn't he? MJ was just told to sing his vocals and make sure his white socks/spangly shoes were clean.
Part of me wishes MJ does get sent down because then he will stop making awful records and inflicting his overindulgent seven hour dance routines on us... The only moonwalk he'll be doing is with Big Ron in the cell block showers, and rightly so *IF* he's guilty. However, even if he's innocent he still should be stopped from making records and dancing like a gimp.

I vaguely remember telling one of my music buddies back in 1983 ( this was when MJ had high music rotation on radio due to Thriller album ) that '......if I ever buy or own any music by Wacko Jacko, I'll cut my dick off!'
Funny thing is that now, more than 20 years later, I actually do own 'Off The Wall' & 'Thriller' CDs which I consider these 2 albums being his best works.:)..shhhhhh

i was living in reading at the time, at the top of caversham hill opposite the petrol station. after the gig finished i literally ran home and saw the short version of the NO story on TV. What possessed the schedulers to put that on the same night as the gig?

Barney replacing with those lyrics is quite ironic given that Quincy Jones is a mutual friend of NewOrder & Michael Jackson.
Well if Micheal Jackson is an innocent has he makes out he would not understand what those lyrics were meaning anyway;)
It is the kind of thing Morrisey would do, funny at the time (still funny now actually) but it is risky as it could offend people close to NO.
At a Morrrisey gig he anounced he was glad his old headmasster Mr so and so was dead. This was in a stadium 100 yards from that school.
i was at that gig in 93 and people standing away from the front of the stage could make out the words quite clearly. Radio one played the whole concert a few months later- but "carefully" edited the words- well not carefully actually they just phased out the song for a couple of seconds at that point!
