"The Vault"'s obsession with BM88

I've been up coding all night (damn, how geeky must that sound), and I've had The Vault (Sky music channel) on all night. I've seen BM88 at least twice in the past two hours. The rest is all completely random. It seems to be like this between about 3 and 6, you even see LWTUA's "video" on during those hours a lot.

However, never True Faith/Regret/World/Fine Time or even Crystal, all of which would match its song age profile fine.

Is there a secret Blue Monday fan working in The Vault?

No, it's probably some idiot thinking "if Quincey Jones produced this , it must be good".

You should also switch over to "The Amp" (Another Sky Digital music channel). They play Regret all the time. They also play Getting Away With It. You can press your red button and you can choose what songs you want to hear. I chose Regret once and it worked. Even better, Getting Away With It was played just before it came on.

They probably think New Order are 5 african americans from New York too!

i spend far too much time watching mtv and the likes hoping to get a decent jd/no track . all we ever seem to get is blue chuffin monday ,tis absolute bab !

The Amp did about a week ago, it was even song number #001 on their requests list that day

I knew about the Amp liking Regret, but I thought I'd seen an explanation of why a while back. They were playing it the day after True Faith was #001.

I, however only have freesat at home, so I don't get the Amp, MTV, etc...

The Amp plays True Faith alot.I find I'ts a good channel that one. VH2 also play True Faith quite a bit along with Love Will Tear Us Apart and Getting Away With It. I've noticed that the videos they show for Getting Away With It on The Amp and VH2 are completely different and The video they show for True Faith on VH2 is a bit of a compilation with little snippets from the other videos.

There are a couple of half decent music channels now, which is better than none. I find the channel hopping to avoid the crap is not good, especially when I'm supposed to be writing up my thesis. That's the problem with the music channels though, you always tend to think you could be missing something better on the other side and there are some things I can't even stand being on in the background.
