On a Yahoo! New Order club I recently visited, someone mentioned that the owrking lyrics to 1963 were originally the same as LWTUA and Barney went back and changed them at the end....someone also said the music to 1963 is only a very very slight variation of the synth on LWTUA only speeded up...can anyone confirm or deny this??? I thought it sounded like BS

hmmmmm..... just listened to 1963 and I have to say I don't agree. I can't hear LWTUA in there.
There might be some similarity tune-wise, but offhand I'd say that falls into yet another BS story (like Ian talking about Rudolph Hess--That was actually Barney)

That's what I figured...lol....I was more or less asking about whether LWTUA lyrics were the original lyrics used during the working and writing of 1963. Maybe false also...but I wasn't reallt asking for anyone t confirm or deny the sound of the tunes...lol...obviously they are different......
Hey, talking about rip-off.....Have you people heard the recent Mick Jagger/L. Kravitz song - 'God Gave Me Everything'....doesn't the beat, guitar etc. sounds very much like a NO song we know?? Have a listen and I bet it won't take long for you to pick the NO song..
So spill it!!! I don;t own any Mick Jagger cds and don't plan to own any...what NO song does it sound like????
Sorry...only the beat and the instrumentation sounds like...CRYSTAL!!! but only the vocals or singing....definitely Barney doesn't have big lips and an ugly jaw....
Err..don't get me wrong..I don't own any Jagger CDs....but I do have those Stones CD on limited edition mini-LP sleeves versions... I happened to hear that song on the radio...

Just heard it on the radio meself. And you are so RIGHT!!! I was expecting a piano part with delay to kick in at the end, but it never came. Phew!
