Just spoke to a mate of mine (quite a reliable one),who said he was listening to Pete Tong on Radio1 friday night talking about Creamfields, when they mentioned Deep Dish were playing a rare UK set there. This is the interesting part, apparently they are over here because they have been doing some remix work, including the new single by New Order called "Hostage" which they hope to play on the Essential Mix in the next few weeks. How true this is,i cant say,but he`s a good lad and i belive him.

"Hostage" sounds like a good name for a single. We can only hope.

Pete Tong's show is still online HERE.

I've fast-forwarded through the first hour and a half. Didn't hear a mention of NO though. Got better things to do on a Saturday night that sit in listening to this!!! ;)

Well, I think I've listened to just about the entire show now, and unless I've missed something, there's no mention of the Order anywhere.

Your mate on a wind-up, Stephen?! :nonono:

To be fair, he does say "which they hope to play on the Essential Mix in the next few weeks"...

I hope not,but ill check with him tonight! If he said they played the track i wouldve thought bullshit, but last time he said this the following week they had John Digweed on the phone plugging his mix of "Crystal". Fingers crossed.

Listened back to bits of the show .Deep Dish are talking about either 1 hour 35 mins in or 2 hour 35mins in. I cant recall which but one of those times. But they didnt mention any New Order related stuff. But the Deep Dish mixing New Order could have been stated by Tong himself elsewhere in the show.Tried just now to listen again but couldn`t access it:\ohwell:

Yeah, 1'33 ish. No mention of New Order whatsoever though, and I haven't - thus far - spotted it anywhere else in the show.
