Because then it`s something to look forward to after Xmas and New Year as January is just the most desolate cold boring month(unless you live in Australia i know i know...).Would tie in with the apparent return to Technique sound as that came out in January also.

Yeah,itd be a shame if they put it out before christmas cos it would be washed over by a sea of best ofs,which means sales wise it would probably do badly. Cant see them beating a Robbie Williams Greatest Hits,can you?
I'd love a single before Christmas, then the album in January, but these days the single/album publicity runs simultaneously, with the album coming out just a week after the preceeding single.
