A Vox Phantom. You'll need a lot of money to get an original, but Eastwood Guitars (www.eastwoodguitars.com) do excellent copies at good prices.
...and not just an 'ordinary' vox phantom, it's one of the organ guitars plus effects - well rare and expensive now (if you can even find one)
well im going for it no matter what, ian curtis is one of my idols, ownin a copy or orignal would make my life lol:D

Once upon a time, some time ago, Hooky stood over me with his Ricky and insisted nicely that I buy an SG, because Bernard used to have one.
Not true, as I have never paid that much attention to copying their instruments (though I own an SG and 335 like Bernard, and a melodica or three), but I suppose my choice of musical instrument was somewhat dictated by them, as I learned to play the bass by listening to Hooky's JD basslines and trying to copy them. I later learned the guitar from listening to Will Sergeant's rather unconventional Bunnystyle.

I would seriously love one of those. You can't find a 335 bass, either Gibson, Epiphone or a copy around for love nor money these days, not a full-scale one anyway. The Epiphone ones were a short scale (20 frets) that make it impossible to play Perfect Kiss amongst others.
as you can see in my avatar picture i bought an 335 Epiphone since i couldn´t afford the real Gibson! 
and i do agree with Timbo on the 335 bass. i borrowed mr. Substance his Epiphone335 bass to record my songs for Community. and i did have problems with its shortness, so it was impossible to play very high. besides, i didn´t like its sound. maybe it was this particular bass but it had very poor release and attack. a lot less than i expected anyway. 
so, i´d love to have an Eccleshall some time 
You often get that lack of attack with a hollow body bass though - Hooky's Eccleshalls have got a shedload of onboard electronics apparently, as well as having a shit-hot rack behind him.
