well gillian did....bernard too, if he lost weight he be fine, stephen is lookin young though same wit hooky
Steve , without a doubt. He looks the same as he did 20 years ago. They should get steve to play steve in the new joy division film. No beer gut, same great haircut, and he has always been the coolest.
the other 3 havent aged so well im afraid.
Steve has aged the best by far. If Hooky would make a great Santa Claus, Barney has a C cup, and Gillian is well not even in the damn band anymore.

I thought Hooky looked great for his age at Rob's tribute night, first time I've ever spoke to the great man. Even if he didnae come back for a photie:D
Having met all three of them I think Steve probably looks the youngest. However I think considering the fact they have had a bit of the rock and roll life style they all look very young of their age. Consider New Order are the same age as the New York Dolls and that is scary. New Order look a good 20 years younger.
Hooky looks the oldest but then even in the JD pictures he looked older than the early 20's he would have been. I think Barney still looks young but is showing a few signs of age. Barney never smokes though apparantly (according to Deborah Curtis) the rest do (or did).
There is no way any of them look like they are about to turn 50 though.

Steve looks the youngest. Then it's Hookey. Then we get to Bernard. I was surprised seeing Bernard on the 511 DVD, he looks a lot different compared to even 10 years ago. He used to have big bright eyes but that's gone with age, perhaps if he just lost a bit of weight.
Steve, but probably because he's the only one who actually never changed style in the last 20 years...

While Bernard changed style at all damned album over the last 15 years (including side projects)... Hooky though starts to look a lot older, maybe the short hair is doing it 
Personally I'm glad they all look a lot older these days (and Steve does as well, he's not put on weight but there are lines these days.....), as everyone else has got older too, and we wouldn't want them to be acquiring plastic faces now, would we ? At the end of the day, it's just one of those things that happens to everyone who lives. What a completly bollocks 9000th post. Then again, most of the rest have been, so why change now. Can't be arsed to set a competition or do some fancy speech, you don't give a fuck and nor do I. 
What's gonna happen when you reach 10000. Mebbe we should hold a pool on which happens first, that or the new NO album being released.
Simon Gallup is around their ages and he looks far younger (as long as he doesn't have that stupid mohawk) than they do, with the exception of Steve.

yeah, simon only looks to be in his 30's... i met him at the after-party for the curiosa festival here in Dallas a few weeks back.. Robert Smith looked pretty young too....
Steve did the fewest drugs and drank the least, it will always be him and will just get more noticable over time.

Yes. It's pretty easy to see that massive drug use ages you before your time. Keith Richards and Ozzy might live forever, but one look at their faces and you would guess they are in their 60's. Granted Barney and Hooky don't look anywhere near that bad. Just using them to make a point.

What chemical indulgences specifically did Steve-o do? Aside from probably acid (evolution of Blue Monday?) and speed (the man was a literal drum machine in the 80s).

Steve does however smoke most. Smoking is known to age, ie wrinkes. I don't know if Hookey still smokes, he however only took it up quite late in life. Barney for all I know never smoked (cigarettes that is).
It seems they've aged a lot more in the years when they weren't together 93-98 (see New Order Story and 316). Since they got together again they don't seem to have aged that much if at all (see 316 and 511).
Conclusion if they don't want too age they should stay together. Its for their own good.
don't know how so many people voted for Barney ?! He lost his schoolboy image years ago and he looks like an old fart now. Hooky, I reckon, has always looked 'mature' and Steve's the only one that doesn't look like he's in his late 40's.
