well, these past 3 pages were certainly interesting to read. i sort of stumbled upon new order when i was 13, and found JD soon after. i'm 19 now. but having missed out on all that history and stuff, i didn't get much out of 24HPP...probably more so because i live in the US. ::throws radio in the toilet::
yea new order is like nothin big in Jersey, only song i heard by them was BLT about a month ago, and it was by luck![]()

So should everyone write "Laurence" instead? That'll cure it
Cure it???

When you here stuff like NO in a supermarket...it can mean two things:
- Things are looking up for the world.
or...
- It's the END of the world.
I'm gonna hafta ponder that for a while. But at least it's a good bit of NO spotting Tristan!! ![]()

Says it all. Laurence.
I don't want New Order to be popular, I want them all mine. Mine mine mine mine and noone else's. They've got enough money now they don't have to sell records to other people. All mine. No advertising no nothing. They didn't advertise when I got to like them I hope they won't advertise now. And the movie, I hope it won't be like xxx La Bamba. I watched horse riding yesterday, one of them was called Robert Smith. I'd ban it straight away. Disgusting. Mine mine mine.
They have be at least more successful than their solo projects if we want them to keep going.
That guy needs to calm down, but New Order needs to make a come back in the US! people are starting to doubt a come back in Jersey:(

I heard 60mph in a Gap once.
To be perfectly honest, this is the most amusing and entertaining thread I have read on NOOL in the longest of times! Thanks Spike and James for your lovely banter.

I used to hear new order at Albertsons all the time...of course, that was when I was working there overnight, and brought my little CD player with me...oops...that doesn't count...does it?

My roommate and I were shopping Albertsons one day and suddenly 'Enjoy the Silence' started playing and we immediately froze and looked at each other, unsure of whether that spoke badly of DM to be lumped in with the rest of the Muzak.
haha! i heard enjoy the silence their too, once, i was like haha Depeche mode! lol then my mom is like aww i loved them![]()
New Order may achieve some popularity if they'd perform at Jay Leno's. 100 millions of viewers - can't just at least 100 thousand of those be fascinated with the band and there you go - people would rush attacking their local music shops!
A very interesting thread indeed. is it a jsb & spike thread? Anyway back to business.
If the jd film is going to be done in the us then surely it will get promoted to death as is every other film that comes out of the states. If it is going to be BIG bidget then the promotion will be even bigger and more monotonous. This over exposure could be a good thing,or it could be bad. yes jd/no will get plenty of exposure and it may be the case that folks get interested in the music and go out and buy the entire back catalog and stuff like that etc BUT, if the film is'nt made correctly and doesn't stick to factual events then it could perhaps have a negative effect on new order.
am i right or am i
?
