I have been lurking on EBay for a week seeking to buy a copy of "Still", but all copies I've seen are going for 7-8$ USD + 5-6$ of shipping, so I decided to go traditionnal (which I didn't do in a while)...

After 3 shops, I finally found one brand new for a decent price.. but I was surprised to also find Preston and Les Bains-Douche.. I didn't have the BBC Sessions album of Joy Division (though I have Heart & Soul), but they sold it for 26$ CDN at one shop, then I saw "Before & After" for 33$ CDN... I bought that one instead though I have the BBC Live CD twice already

Oh well, it wasn't THAT expensive, but when is the last time you managed to buy 5 Joy Division CDs in the same day? ;)

I hope they were worth it.. I never managed to get the "Fractured" box set, so that's the best I could do.

Speaking of the fractured box set...

Preston and Les Bains-Douches are actually 2003 reissues by Alchemy Records and listed as "The Fractured Music Archives Vol 1 & 2".... !!!

Didn't even know they re-released them!

I see those quite often in shops around Montreal. It's not very surprising.

It's a good thing that you decided to buy Still, it's must have JD material

Whenever I visit a different city I usually make time to visit/hunt out the more oscure record shops. I pays off more times than not.

More or less true these days due to the Internet... those shops SHOULD sell online.

I guess it's the reason why the 1981-1982 EP is now rare to find even in Canada, HMV had an online shop!

Not every little shop/market where you could pick up a rare / rare second hand item is online.
