I’m growing tired of the New Order attitude… I mean, it looks like they don’t give a damn about what it is to be on the market. I know, the Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols and a great deal of other big groups didn’t care for fans either. But we talk about New Order. For God’s sake, let’s face it – Bernard Sumner is the center of it all. If he says ‘fuck it’, be sure there’ll be nothing. The same guy who used to say that it was a great pleasure for him to create music, to create something new. Now they take years to record a damn LP, don’t play a damn concert in America where a lot of people have been waiting them all those years. Did he lose his interest or fascination with music? They are damn musicians, right? I mean, they became neither cooks, nor policemen, they chose to be musicians. And they are growing old now, like we all are. And they say, 'fuck off'. That's an ever-optimistic statement but we are left with no music. And that's the point.

So what are they doing? Sitting on the sofa watching TV, buying gardens, playing with guns, sailing the ocean, going to restaurants? Family? Isn’t there anything creative anymore? I can tell: there are families that kill the creativeness of such desperate souls like B. Sumner’s.
Remember –
“There’s no food on our plate, So we beg and we steal For we know love is real”?
Or:
“I spent lifetime working on you And you don’t even talk to me”
Now what? 
He would write a song about what? I’m not surprised. Their songwriting is something. The only guys who came close in terms of beauty and wit are Neil Tennant (though recently he sings only about growing old) and Mark E. Smith (a really inspiring chap!).

New Order are getting old Mr severe young man, and as you get old you start to slow down, it will happen to you eventually, get use to it. :D
