Joy Division on radio Kink's DNA programme

This afternoon a dutch alternative radio station played 3 Joy Division tracks, based on listeners’ votes.

First played was She’s Lost Control, followed by Isolation, and last but not least LWTUA…..They obviously didn’t read my vote :D

Inbetween tracks a brief history was given, which was pretty accurate. Thought I’d share this piece of useless information with youse J

A friend of mine'd played 60mph on her radio shift in June because I'd asked her for something JD/NO. I'd actually asked for LWTUA but she'd said it's not for daytime programme. Then again, I don't like her very much (friend nit LWTUA).

Might I first repeat that I don't like her very much... The radio editors fear that a song that's too much off the usual radioplay list (I don't want to use the A word) would scare off your average daytime listeners (that particular radio has like Cosmo and Your Health shows). Too I don't know, inteligent ?

Perhaps the lyrics are too much for them, they express real feelings which is a big no no.
