He means Farley Jackmaster Funk. Hope that helps.
I haven't intentionally listened to NO for a few days at least now. Here To Stay, The Beach and Vanishing Point all came up on my playlist today when the Vaio was in my bag and I was on my bike, but I haven't sat/lain/whatever down and put a NO CD or playlist on for ages. However, as soon as the Orbital CD finishes I think I'll put Substance on....

Now if you'd said you weren't gonna post any shite for 3 months, people might have sat up and listened.

arf! now you be funny!
There's a ton of NO gigs downloadable at this moment. I have not had time to listen to them all.
But after Curiosa i admit I was listening to alot of Cure especially as the Curiosa bootlegs drifted in.

Thank you for bringing this up Geri. Why the hell would you want to stop listening to New Order for 3 months? ![]()

The idea was that I was getting bored of listening to the same stuff over and over and thought a break my make it sound fresher ![]()

That actually makes sense Slippy, but i could never do it, ever.
Strangely, I hadn't listen to New Order in many a moon, until I stumbled across this site (possibly over a year). I've been digging out all the old favourites now though.
Inspirational.

Well, maybe if you would listen to other material AND New Order, not exclusively New Order, it would help...
I usually take breaks, but it's hard for me to stop listening to it, because I'm constantly reminded by this website.
I used to be a bigger Depeche Mode fan, but I almost never listen to them right now... I think the same would have applied to New Order if it wasn't for this site.
... and due to the fact I wasn't listening to NO I also didn't post much here. Much to Tim's delight I am sure! :p

But, are you on EmptyWorld forum? I am also a big DM fan ...

My girlfriend left me 4 weeks ago for another bloke (looks like a child!) and moved about 150 yards from where I live - flipping great!!! He has now moved in with her ![]()
So what did I do I came back to NO and the album was Low-life :)

Amazing how womenz know to do that...me ex did nearly the same thing.
So I listen to MURDER more. But SUNRISE is a great choice!!!
Typical reaction of a NO fan... exactly what I like in their songs : happiness or sadness ? hard to know... Surely a fascinating mix of both feelings. As a JD fan, no doubt about it, I would have listened to "In a lonely Place".

Listening to JD at the time would have finished me off for good!
