barney's cowbell

i went to watch the music last night at king george.s hall blackburn,during one of the songs the singer was playing a cow bell and it got me thinking,when was the last time barney played it and does anybody know why it disapeared?

The last time, and only time he played it, was for "The Perfect Kiss" and that was it. You wouldn't want an album full of cow bells, now then, would ya.

Not so he did also use it on other songs. Yes my jaw dropped when I saw him play it on Blue Monday, I think it was on PFD.

I do think the last time he played it would have been the last time The Perfect Kiss was played.

Just look that song up on this site under Resources/Songbrowser, and look at the stats.

As Christopher Walkin said long ago in an absolutly hilarious skit on Saturday Night Live, while playing a record producer for the Blue Oyster Cult ....

i'm glad some of you agree about the need for cowbells! me & my mate had massive grins on our faces when the singer was bashin the cowbell and the bass player was beatin the hell out of some bongo's with drumsticks,reminded us of our favourite band,worth the addmision fee alone!

I saw the video last night for TPK on VH1 Classic and Barney is going to town on that damn cowbell. I thought it was awesome. My jaw dropped wide open when I saw it. Great video. Probably my favorite of theirs now. It actually shows them in it! lol

BTW, anyone one in the states that has VH1 Classic, check out "We Are The 80's" and "The Alternative". They show NO videos quite frequently. In fact, I even saw the video for LWTUA the other day. Just about fell out of my chair.
