yes - it was remastered in 1993. i have a copy of it. basically, the original uk version didn't include getting away with it. the new remastered version includes the tracki. it's legit.
they also took out a full page ad in NME and Melody Maker at the time announcing the remastered version.
No it is NOT a FAKE,different cover on CD,YES i own it and it was just re-released in BRITAIN a few years ago.Not too sure if the SOUND is ANY better.DON should be able to tell you but a lot of the time....GET A GOOD SOUND SYSTEM and GIVE IT A TWEAK!It was RE-MASTERED according to the package but MAYBE this is just a PLOY.Slightly better but not to MY ears.Now where did i put my HEARING AID?
They are virtually the same, well on my stereo anyway 
A remastered version on CD exists with the Orange cover AND the extra track however... it was released by Virgin Records. 
I had both as well, funnily enough some swine has nicked me original Factory copy with the Orange cover
Both sounded exactly the same to me.
Must admit, I had never seen the Orange re-issue with the extra track....is that rare DoNnie Boy?
I will be putting together a BEST OF ELECTRONIC IN THE next couple of weeks, for a select few. Cheers to Dave and Jorgey boy - yer CD's have arrived safely at Sludden Heights

What about this 'bonus' disc then? Are you sure it's not fake?
It's the 2nd disc that I too found suspicious... it's like PSB releases... not quite typical of Bernard Sumner!!
However I didn't know about the reissue.. I guess it's because the original UK one doesn't have GAWI like the one in all other countries ?!?!?!
I would presume that the Bonus disc is just a CD-R the seller's compiled, as I've never seen a copy of the remastered album with an extra CD...?
From memory, though, there was an extra CD with one of the European editions (Disappointed?) which *might* exist, although I might be dreaming of that fact!
And, yeah, I think that the UK CD was the only one without Getting Away With It on, until the reissue.

What i mean is RED ONE 1991 BLACK ONE with GETTING AWAY WITH IT as the EXTRA track for me anyway as RED in BRITAIN did not have this was released 1994 after being REMASTERED in 1993. That's about all i can tell you for NOW!

I have all 3-FAC290,Virgin European Release (with GAWI) and this black/silver sleeved edition. I have to say i think the silver version DOES sound better,cant belive people think the silver copy is rare-its the one version i ever see nowdays in HMV etc.

Yes, it's true. There was a German limited edition with the regular Disappointed CD5 and the album in one of those slim-line double-CD cases (may have been the weird Z-case) [feel free to insert your German joke now].
