Early Warning

With regards to the upcoming anniversary of the death of Ian Curtis and obviously being a major anniversary anyone aware of any functions being planned for the big day. Me and Ernie Cycle are travelling from Buckinghamshire to Macclesfield and then planning on spending the night in Manchester.

I'm assuming Mick's confusion was over the fact that said anniversary is more roughly seven months away, and thus not particularly imminent.

Hmmm - 25 years on: I guess NOOL-ers should really organise something. Do we all descend on the bar in Macc owned by Hooky & Mani (he offers unimaginatively....)???

I reckon a club should have an Ian Curtis night where they play songs produced by Ian Curtis and perhaps a little bit of New Order stuff.

Well i did not think that 25 years since my last job was anything to celebrate but if we should mark it with a NOOL piss up then count me in.No need to cycle up though,SHUGZV will give you a lift.Maybe we could have a sing-song or get one of those cover bands with guest vocalist SPIKE doing the autocue............ WA.K IN SILENCE I just thought maybe i have outgrown my long black coat but could wear my CHORLEY TATTON COMMUNITY CENTRE T-SHIRT but may be showing a little flesh. I have been away a long time and forgot about how great things are in the REAL WORLD.Is there a KFC around MACC or should i bring some SARDINE sandwiches?Can't wait!
