Picked up the Grand National Album 'Kicking the national habit' a week or so ago. Well recommended if you want to listen to some very New Order and Police influenced stuff.

The single 'Talk Amongst yourselves' is particularly good - synth line straight from Procession with some Barney style guitar and nice lyrics over the top.

Check it out if you get the chance

Yes, I have!

My mate insisted I listen to the album on the way to V this year and I remember being quite impressed.

Glad you reminded me - thanks...!!!

probably won't be for long...

couldn't access the forum for about a year for some unknown reason - something to do with the redesign of it I think.

Yeah, the album is quality. The single has been a big club track this year, albeit in remix form. There is another band just called "The National" who are also very similar worth checking out.

That'd be Sasha's remix - as found on his Involver album. Even better than the original - undoubtedly my favourite track of the year
