Bemusic

I was listening to Low-Life earlier and was looking through the linear notes. Obviously, NO produced one of their best albums, but which member actually did the production? Was it a collective effort from all four, or was it mostly Barney? What about for the other songs that Bemusic produced?

I know that Barney initially came up with the name "Bemusic" (Bemused Music) but the way I understand it, the moniker has been used collectively between the 4 members of the band.

As for Low-Life, Brotherhood and Technique, I'm [fairly] certian is was a collective effort.

Twice as Nice was released a couple of months ago, I think. didn't bother with it, since I think the first one was shite.

Thought the first one was excellent in parts, shite in parts:

Good stuff -theme, Paul Haig, Marcel King - oh, and Barney's remix of looking from a Hilltop is sublime - worth it for that alone.

However, there is some Shite - 52 street (basically sub standard 5 star) - quando Quango or whatever - sounded like fooking haircut 100 and there was some further filler....

Have ordered twice as Nice tho'.....

Just because a song is recorded during a particular set of sessions doesn't mean is was meant to stand up againt the rest of the songs in said session. We will never really be sure what in god's name NO were thinking when these were done.

Besides, wasn't THEME done buy Hooky alone as an opening piece for...oh shit. What was that group he was producing for back then???
