New Order v Lazio

So Pat Nevin did his gig at the pub last Sunday. He was excellent and we did a better bar than at Hooky believe it or not!

He sat behind for a few at the end along with assorted members of Camera Obscura, Mull Historical and other Glasgow indie no-marks. He was talking about his mates challenging him to drop in bizzare phrases during his TV pundit work ("pythagoras theorem" was the one I remember). So Muffy and I challenged him to get either "They Walked In Line" or "Komakino" onto the next broadcast.

Got an e-mail from him today saying that "They Walked In Line" was the second thing he said on last night's Middlesborough v Lazio match on Channel 5! Which of course I missed. Anyone catch it?

They walked in line - too easy for him - they would have walked out of the tunnel in line; ask him to try BLT next time!

Dont get C5 over here, but TV3 will probably use their edited highlights - I'll keep an ear on his commentary.

I watched the entire game (being a Boro supporter) - I didn't notice the phrase, though I tend to turn the sound off when John Barnes is doing the presenting! (stick to rapping John - on second thoughts though don't) Next Boro match is the 25th so I'll analyse all Pat Nevin's comments.
