Didn't know you were born within the sound of Bow Bells, Mike? nah, he was born to the sound of extreme labour pain and finally the anguished voice proclaiming ' oh shit ANOTHER boy. Hah Hah! Hope the lads play another blinding show and upstage those Smythes boys. Any chance of a request? OK, how about 'Fine Time'

I lived in Putney 13 years until 2001 and i can't for the life of me remember the Half Moon. Never mind - come back to Putney in the summer when I'll be there!

I lived in Putney for 10 years until 1999. The pub is on the Lower Richmond Road. Although after checking the time difference, I think the gig is over now.

Did the Smiffs fans understand the significance of the first selection?

Sorry I couldn't make it, 150 miles away and without transport made it a bit of a Putney Bridge too far. Next time.....
