Lyrics... I assume Bernard's part are between ( )

I've seen your face a thousand times Have all your stories memorized I've kissed your lips a million ways But I still love to have you around

I've held you too many times to count I think I know you inside out And we're together most days But I still love to have you around

You're the one I want and it's not just phase You're the one I trust, our love is THE REAL THING

Don't go away My love (my love) I want you to stay In my life Don't go away My lover (my love) I'm happier when we spend time

You're a salty water ocean wave You knock me down, you kiss my face I know the storms will always come But I still love to have you around

Heaven knows what will come next So emotional, you're so complex A rollercoaster built to crash But I still love to have you around

You're the one I want and it's not just phase You're the one I trust, our love is THE REAL THING

Don't go away My love (my love) I want you to stay In my life Don't go away My lover (my love) I'm happiest when we spend time (it's only you and I)

It's you there when I close my eyes And you in the morning I never thought you'd still be mine Or I'd really need to have you around

Don't go away My love (my love) I want you to stay In my life Don't go away My lover (my love) I need you, you're my love supply

Don't go away My love (you're my love supply) I want you to stay In my life (every day, every night) Don't go away My lover (you're my love supply) I need you, you're my love supply

So Barney's has about as much to sing as Dawn does on Crystal, then?

Barely worth mentioning him as a singing then...

Mentioning Dawn, is she going to be dragged on tour again next time out I wonder...

Well, maybe he has a verse, like Billy Corgan on Turn My Way... but it's always been said he did backing vocals... it's not a duet...

Well, hum, used Adobe Audition with source selected as the "record master" and pressed record... any sound editor can do that...

However it was a little tricky, because usually you don't have to select the source when you want to record what you are listening...

there are 2 differnt 30 second clips on www.nodoubtweb.com if you download the album sample on the news page one is the slow jam remix which does sound like a new order remix

hmm... I honestly think that if it was an instrumental, it'd be better... or just with different vocalist

which is odd, b/c I really normally don't mind Gwen's voice

Thanks, I posted them as well.

BTW, what's with all these newbies in this thread suddenly

Interesting... Hooky's bass is somewhat comforting to hear and against the programmed backing tracks, sound New Orderish to me. At least she's not oversinging and the vocal isn't mega EQ'd as most of her vocals tend to sound. BLT light indeed... would be curious to hear the rest.

Yeah, BLT lite is being kind. What inane lyrics. And that voice...ugh.

Thanks for the preview, though!

Why do I have a feeling that most people in the UK will hate it, and most people in the US will love it?

Apart from Hooky, it sounds more like PSB than New Order.

full of fooking cliches. another brick in the retro80s wall, this time with help of our own heroes. but somehow i can hear the joke of Barney and Hooky "c´mon, do something quick, take the money and let´s get the fook out of here!"

might grow on us after a while?

All the fuss about this, I hate to think how sycophantic this place will become when New Order finally get the album out.....

Hmmm. It'll depend on whether Barney gets his belly as toned as Ms. Stefani's, I imagine.....

They`re from Gwens record label wondering what the f*ck your playing at providing links to her music before its released...

I'm afraid that we won't allow it to be good... :( It's often easier to criticize than to praise. But time will well. It took me probably 3-4 years before I realized that EGG was an ace track. I'm still working on Movement... ;)

What a crap!

I think it sounds brilliant.

Very BLT and also very "Other Two" too......

A North American perspective...

Sounds really good, nice crisp prouction, Gwen has made leaps and bounds as a singer (listen to something new of hers compaired to Tragic Kingdom)...Hooky's bass is catchy, wondering what Barney "Dawn Zee" Sumner's contributions vocalwise are.

Although a lot will slag this off, there is a legitimate chance it could wind up a moderate radio hit. If we all get behind it, request, buying it etc., will hype up New Order's album, heat up sales, and prompt a BlueCross/BlueShield Arena gig here in Rochester, NY

Real simple, eh? :p

I have now heard the full thing... I must say, if you can recognize Bernard, you're quite good, because he's mixed with other backup singers....

Hooky is evident, but most backing vocals seems to be female backing vocals... there is maybe a man in the bunch, unsure...

But it does sound like The Other Two + Hooky.

Barney's mixed in the right channel, layered in with additional backups from Gwen. He's not singing much, but he's in there (his parts are "don't go away" and "want you to stay"). I've given it several listens via mp3 and think the production is pretty solid... whether or not you care for the song at all is a different story. I'm not a Gwen Stephani fan at all but thought this track wasn't that bad.
