Another thread has given me the idea that perhaps we should compile a listing of all the stuff that you can't get in the shops anymore.

Original Ceremony 7" & 12 " Temptation 7" Run 2 7" & 12 " MTO

Then there's a whole lot of b side remix like the BLT remix only availiable on the US BLT single

Some of the other b sides icluding some of the newer ones are also reasonbly hard to get such as, Best & Marsh Player in the League, Such a Good Thing , Behind Closed Doors, then there's the Saville Soundtrack, and the Christmas flexi ( I have most of these in one form or another.)

This list is just off the top of my head. Perhaps we should compile a list of stuff that is not officially availiable anymore.

Seriously though... nobody owns the Christmas flexi for the music on it, don't they?

Having this crap on CD wouldn't make my day... I never bought Video 586 either... crap is still crap.

I have this idea that all unreleased material is unreleased because the band doesn't want it to be released... if they don't release Ceremony 7" it's because they don't want it to be available, hence why they re-recorded it when Gillian joined the band.

It must have been hard for them to release the Heart & Soul demos..

are a few others not on cd (i know tbthod is on the jap 3"cd,but its VERY rare!).

Well, technically speaking, NO original New Order releases prior to Republic are available, as the record label went bust...

Second hand is more fun though - the searching, the beer, the peeling the stickers off, more searching, more beeer, peeeeeling more sticklers orff, more beeerr,, beer and peeling beer off stickers fun....gurgle...

...yeah, it should get updated some time, but it's a nice overview for newbies, and there're several songlists around made from different people, so NEW ORDER is one of the most documented bands in the www...

Yeh I have seen that list. It's not too accurate though. Its a list of stuff that's not availiable on cd. I have plenty of that stuff on cd inc boots. He obviously did not include too many releases from other countries and boots, which still leaves us to compile the list of officially unavailiable stuff.

You're looking at the wrong list, guys. That link was to my list of every individual New Order track. The stuff on vinyl is listed here, and if you lot reckon any of this list is available on CD, I'd be interested to find out where!

You mean the 'I Don't Care Dub'? That's simply 'Bizarre Dub Triangle', more commonly available on the Factory 12" (and the 'Substance' cassette).
