I say True faith should been up there, second its b-side 1963. Bizarre Love triangle wasnt one of my faves, NO had way better singles or b-side or songs than that.
Other NO tracks that shouldve been on top 500

Agreed. Along with Ceremony, Temptation and True Faith. Just as dictated by Peel's All Time 50. Not a fan of True Faith, per se, but appreciate the fact that it's a popular track, even with an audience such as Peel's.
None of em unless it was a live version, and polls are just subjective, make yer own polls up. ![]()

I'd go one further and put Regret on there as well![]()

You must be on crack if you think ANY live version of True Faith or BLT are better than the studio versions...
Especially BLT...
I chose True Faith. Temptation, Blue Monday, Ceremony, and Regret you could make arguements for. I like Theives Like Us but it didn't have much impact on music.
Yknow what though? Lists suck. Everytime a magazine or website (save for NOOL!) does one of these "top" lists there is usually 20% stuff that doesnt belong and 20% stuff that is blatantly missing. It is all subjective...and frustrating...and annoying.:p
'True Faith and 'Temptation' for me. So what NO tunes were in the top 500 then. out of interest????
blue monday. not because it's one of my favourites, but because of its importance to dance music.

If they weren't, they ought to be. "Policy of truth," "Never Let Me Down Again," "People are people," and "Black Celebration" are ace tracks. "Master and Servant" is also good, but is probably not top 500 worthy.
This is hard. I love True Faith but Blue Monday is a more important song. In terms of music and changing things then without a doubt Blue Monday, in terms of my favourite True Faith.
I also like Crystal and 60 miles an hour.
