In the Other Two, what did Gillian and Steve do exactly? Did Gillian only do some vocals or did she actually do something with the keyboard? And, did Steve only do programming or did he use his drum kit? I haven't heard much by them, but, from what I've heard, it's hard to tell what the instrumentation really is.

The first album "The Other Two & You",was basically stuff they`d done for TV. It was just expanded and had some vocals added-it sounds better than it should,the second album is quite good-its no NewOrder,but stll ok!

I love their two albums, maybe my favorite side project ever (it changes from time to time ). And I really would like to see some of this "1/2 New Order" on this new album, I really wish that Gillian was still an active member of NO...

Probably my fave side project also, the voice makes it more unusual (& memorable) than the others IMO. Good music too.

Can anyone tell what tracks by Other Two were not with vocals by Gillian (and not instrumentals)? And who sings each track? (excluding instrumental tracks, too)

They rehearsed some songs that ended up on The Other Two and You album with Kim Wilde but it didn't work out. Apparently, Steve & Gillian expected her to contribute vocal melodies but Kim just wanted to show up and sing. Gillian decided she could do the job herself. Kim was sent packing but is thanked in the liner notes.

Coffee now on computer screen! To be fair, watching some of the DVD's you've sent, Gillian wasnae that bad on the ole geetar when they play some of their older stuff. Wonder if she'll be back next year?

Selfish off the first album is an absolutely great song!.Always reminds me of packing me job in and leavin Blighty in Autumn 93 to go to Israel for 6 months.

I loved almost everything by The Other Two. It's a shame there was no good promotion of their releases. I think many tracks could have been radio hits if they had the promotion they deserved.
