Have just read this on the LTM site: http://www.ltmpub.freeserve.co.uk/ltmnews.html "LTM are very sad to report that Jenny Cassidy of Section 25 passed away on Saturday 20 November after a long and courageous struggle against cancer. The forthcoming So Far DVD will go ahead as planned, and is in some small way an apt memorial to her. Jenny joined the band in 1983 and took centre stage both on the album From the Hip, epochal single Looking From a Hilltop and subsequent live shows. Our thoughts are with her family at this difficult time."

Great band with much shared history with JD / NO.

Yup, sad. I posted about it in the off-topic forum as soon as I got a mail from LTM about it.

Oh fuck, this is awful news. Thoughts to Larry and their daughter. SXXV were a great band & made music the way it should be made - with invention, honesty and soul. They were always moving towards a new sound with every release and Jenny was truly part of that pioneering spirit while she was in the band. RIP.
