Answer these questions related to the band and win absolutely FA its just for fun.

Q1;At which festival were both Electronic and Revenge on the same line up? Q2;Who was the very first drummer with the band? Q3;Who did Stephen Morris replace as Drummer with the band? Q4;Which bands fans did Bernard Sumner say he'd seen them picking their noses in the Reading 89 set? Q5;What was the name of the first New Order single to feature on an album? Q6;What was Bernard Sumners original sirname in the band? Q7;What New Order single did not appear on the vinyl version of Substance? Q8;What was the name of the Warsaw Ep? Q9;What was New Orders only UK number 1 called? Q10;What New Order song did Revenge play at Cities in the Park?

There are no prizes involved but have a go anyway.

Warsaw didnae actually put out an EP, JD put out An Ideal Fer Living. There were bootlegs years later which featured various Warsaw EP's, the one I chose for number 8 I have at home;)

For a laugh I thought I'd have a go without consulting any web sources and do it purely from memory to see how much of a New Order bore I really am :laugh: Oh well, here goes:

Wasn't Barney 'amusingly' called Barney Rubble on original releases?

And Murder wasn't a single on Factory, so shouldn't necessarily have been on Substance?!

3 should read BROTHERDALE, with an R,

6 can only ever be Dicken. Albrecht was a name he decided to call himself, it was never his surname. On the first Manics album, Richey was listed as Richey James, that wasn't his surname.....

8 was not a Warsaw release, it was a Joy Division one

So I was correct with Procession then? I thought I was! E/G/G was classed as a b-side was it not?

And yes Bernard was called Barney Rubble on the first release alongside Pete 'Hookey' Hook if memory serves, this is the same on the "At The Beginning EP" which fetures the song that everyone loves to argue about "You're No Good For Me"

While I'm at it I could've swore Tony Tabac was the first drummer. Where did I get that from :scratch:

There was a fleeting reference to Terry Mason as thier original drummer in Mark Johnson's biog An Ideal For Living but that he felt he'd do a better job as thier gobetween for getting gigs bef. Rob Gretton became thier manager.
