Crystal (Club Mix) Video — Forum Archive

For whatever reason, had never seen this video until today (probably available even on this website !)

Probably something Dirty Vegas or Crystal Method wished that they had done. What do others think about it ? Pretty different from the Killers video.

Seems like it was done at night on the same location as the Regret video. Perhaps used some footage ?

As we are all getting ready for the new album, maybe we should have a new crystal remix competition to get back into the groove. . .files are all available on site.

The remix was dreadful and the video, only shown in the US, I think, complements it.

Ok, I'Ve kept myself from saying it for three years, but here it goes: Crystal is a good song, but nothing more. I'd even say it's "o.k." or "an average track".

I'm not very fond of it and I don't expect it to pass the test of time.

Never seen the remix video. Which mix is it,Lee Coombs mix? If it looks like Regret then surely its just a cut up of some of their vid`s?

Na...it's not even that good! It's a fooking camera attached to the fork of a motorbike or scooter dring arounnd town recorded at half speed...played back at normal, hence looking all fast and blury and shit. :thumbdown:

Good for a club where people are just trying to get in each other's pants and not really pondering the meaning of life and how it relates to what is being shown on the club screens. :shrug:

Good for a club where people are just trying to get in each other's pants and not really pondering the meaning of life and how it relates to what is being shown on the club screens. :shrug: The video is mediocre, but the remix is horrible. When I heard the remix a couple of years ago, I was really shocked someone could do such a botched job; it doesn't even sound like good club music. When all of the instrumentation is stripped away and the vocals are just put over some trance beats, the song sounds like bad techno.

Yes, it is the Digweed and Muir mix. The Lee Combs' mix is too long.

Just to make it clear, the three Lee Coombs mixes, two Bedrock mixes and two Creamer & K mixes are great, the Corvin Dalek versions are alright, but a bit Rubbish compared with the rest of his output, and the Blue Amazon mix is Gash.
