Sugarcane Promo

Ladies and Gents,

there is a Track called "New Order - Sugarcane Promo Edit" floating around on some P2P.

Have any of you heard it? Without thinking too deeply it sounds like a bit of a mix between Everythings Gone Green and Here to Stay. Can't tell who's singing though, and it sounds pretty roughly edited.

If it actually is NO and not someone wonking around, then with a bit of a touch up it could be pretty good. Not sure about the vocals though - it's not barney and it doesn't sound like anyone in particular.

I found it on a P2P network.

Is there somewhere on this site I can upload it to so you all can have a listen.

I'm only 50% sure it is actually New Order. Musically it sounds OK but there is someone else singing and its doesn't sound like peter or stephen. Maybe it's a guest vocalist of some sort.

I'm keen to see what you guys think

It's 128kbps mp3 with 4:27. And I am 100% sure it is not New Order, although its bass guitar is similar to Hooky's style. Maybe someone wanting to promote his band. If so, it would be good if it shows up the real "artist".

Oh well. It did sound like a rough b-side at best - so I'm glad it isn't NO.

If Barney is not singing then it's not new order. He doesn't even let Hooky touch the mic anymore. He might let some people do back up, but thats all.

I'm a little surprised that the actual new order song, surgarcane, hasn't been leaked on the internet yet.
