Hooky and Bernard DJ'd at Arc NYE party last nite and rocked the place.

Any of the new tracks get played? Did they play any NO stuff at all, or was it an FBS-esque anything-but-my-own set?

hello people,

well cracking night, played one new track, bernard played some electronic, and both sets went down well, spoke at length to bernard, top bloke, great record collection lots of early acid etc, (including eve gallagher tuneeeee,) will download a couple of pics when i have worked out what to do, was told album all finished and they will be touring to support the record, drinking in hotel bar till 6 am,

Hi there! whcih one were you?! You are probably in my very blurry pics! what a night! Can you remember the setlist? were you as pissed as me?? barney was in fine form, a really really lovely bloke, couldnt believe it-I will also have a go at posting the 1 half decent pic that came out! I am just relieved not to have taken my digital camera-and only a crappy disposable one. btw which hotel were they in, bet it wasnt the premier lodge with the sloping floors like me!! did you have anything personally to do with the booking?It sounds like you did-bloody good on you!! So how was it...? What songs did they play? Any songs from the new album? If so how did they sound? Did they say anything about the new album? Or any other interesting things?

i was the one in the snazzy 3 buttoned suit who couldnt get the bloody microphone to work at midnight, (managed to at 3 minutes to!!).

no they didnt stay in the premier lodge, they stayed in the hotel pelirocco which has themed rooms and is the best hotel in brighton.

i do book the acts for holdup! and coming up we have andy rourke, the ordinary boys , the doves and ian brown (tbc).

hope all of you that went had a great time i certainly did.

Aah yes! I remember you! And you are in lots of my photos, struggling with the microphone! Thanks for a great night! If you look at pic on my profile, you will see a rather splendid one of me and hooky! Hurrah! I can send you/post some of you in booth w/ barney/hooky if you fancy- I am just about coming down to earth now...it was ace, just kicking myself re letting champers go to my 'ead & not remembering too much of my conversations with barney.
