It was Dutch before it came to the UK... But the UK version was what made it famous, and Endemol have been mainly UK based since they were started - they used to be the company that supplied the programmes from 'Satelite channel UK', AKA Sky One.

& Endemol are now based in good old Bristol, the next big brother house will be in Bristol too
