You think so? OK then. But what if it ain't so? And why is English such a pain in a butt language?

Rafty, with a K added at the beginning. Or perhaps "drafty" with a K instead of a D.

Well it IS an homage to Kraftwerk and those of you out there who like the technoish side of NewOrder will be very pleased with this.

As a matter of fact, I managed to get a MP3 of it!!!!!!!! Just tell me where to send it and I'll be glad to share. :thumb:

I like 'Krafty' as a name for the single and look forward to hearing it on the radio soon. I don't really like the album name, but so what eh? things are about to get exciting......

I believe Mr Sultan must be on vacation, because he got the Warner Musique France mail the last time too...

Otherwise, I don't get it, it's the type of news he uses to get before I do...

Regardless, I'm going to at least pretend it is a Canadian homage to "Kraft Dinner". (canadian brand macaroni and cheese).

Staying on the food theme, it made me think of Kraft cheese slices. Nice :thumb:

I reckon it refers to German, "Kraft" (yep, halfway to Kraftwerk). So in English it may mean something like "Mighty".

It also could be the name of a character in the song. Maybe it's a story about a hooligan son of a Kraft Foods top manager/owner.

Kraftwerk = Power station

Which also the name of that collaboration between Duran Duran's bassist and the Addicted To Love guy. They did a bad cover of Get It On.

Maybe they wanted to call it 'Kraft' but had to stick the Y on to avoid copyright scuffles?

And did Warner confirm Phil as an official member of the band? I still can't face this as real.

Well, I didn't ask, but it's confirmed that it is indeed written in C4's Teletext by the author itself, and that is what New Order's publicist said.

So you can take this for granted, he's now a full member, you have to worship him! :evil4:

To quote:

Yes, the other part of our story mentioned that Phil is a full-time member now; apparently he will be seen in the band's new press photos.

 Well, in the most pessimist view it is the first side-project with three members of the original band.:cry::cry:

:skeptic:

I don't see the difference from the Get Ready tour, Phil's with the band since 2001. Most people here must feel very happy that it's not Billy Corgan ;)
