Yesterday, the last song played on the ABC just before the first ever bradcast of a 20 20 cricket match (Australia A vs Pakistan) Blue Monday the orignial was played. So, much of Oz would have heard that.

Our summer tv and radio is full of cricket. Just had Australia vs Pakistan test (5 day match) series. 3 nill for Oz

Now we have the triangular 1 day series (50 overs each, 6 balls in each over) between Australia, Pakistan and the West Indies.

Then we also had the Tsunami benefit one dayer beween the best players of Asia (India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka vs the Rest of the World (Australia, NZ, South Africa, England. etc).

Cricket can be quite exciting especially the one dayers when one team needs to score like 10 runs of six balls.

Other strange sports we sometimes have on the telly are lawn bowling and sheep dog trials.
