Unfortunately, it's a private auction, so the name of the highest bidder will not be revealed. All I can tell you is that his initials will be "D.S.". :evil4:

Hahahahah, I completely know where you're coming from there Tristan mate ;) Personally, although I am a bit of 'New Order collector', I'm only *really* bothered about having a CD-quality copy of every track I can lay my hands on, anything beyond that is taking things a bit far. For instance if I had a Fine time CD Single (which I do) I would not really bother with any of the other Fine time releases, say the 12"es etc. no matter how rare (although I do have both twelve inches, the promo 12" and the seven inch). I pick up rare vinyl New Order records when I can and only if they're an extremely reasonable price. As for a scarf, I mean I might bid sixty quid for a promo CD copy of the album, but not a fucking scarf! No way.

She's probably a London Records employee, or a chancer who was at one of the playbacks and got lucky. Can't say I blame her, but it is a bit cynical. David Sultan'll snap it up within the hour I'm sure, but he'll never get his hands on my mega-rare "Here To Stay" premix version, the Monaco See-Saw CD Single Promo, or the 60 MPH Acoustic Demo :D Hehe... he does have an amazing collection though, must need a seperate house or something.

Some things are better left off eBay, and always will be, I'm no saint but I can't be arsed fleecing some newbie fan for half their wage packet for a Sony CDR, unlike some of the prats on eBay. "Buy It Now" 50 quid for a CDR of Barney belching etc.

Ally.

It would be cheaper to buy your own scarf, have a New Order Logo put together and stitch it on for yourself. Why bother? The music is what matters...

It would be easy to knock a few up and sell em off on eBay. dont see the point in someone like DS buying everything he can get his hands on-it stinks of school yard 'ive got the biggest conker/the most marbles' attitude to me,forcably insert it into ones anus i say! Now,i`ve got 250 of them-who wants one! :evil4::D
