i know guessing the setlist for the new tour is pretty much a waste of time, but seeing as they reintroduced loads of joy division tracks last time round to tie in with get ready being a 'guitar' album, maybe this time round we'll get a few of the dancier tracks back in the set because this lp's more dance orientated. It'd be great to have the likes of Round & round, Face Up, Perfect Kiss, vanishing Point etc back again...but unlikely?

don't hold your breath, all they have to do to play guitar tracks is pick up the guitars and rehearse. the electronic stuff needs all the sounds sourcing from scratch and the programming done from scratch so is very time consuming. unless roger has been working on this for a while now I don't think there'll be too much of this.
How about guitar versions of the tracks?,anyway if hip hop artists only give us one thing its the art of sampling-so playing the old tunes would be fairly easy.
Depends how they tackled the 'dancier' (presumably by this you just mean more synth-dominated?) stuff, I guess?! You have to admit the rockier stuff like Crystal, Regret and Ceremony generates a fantastic atmosphere down the front at gigs. But the way they deliver the likes of True Faith and BLT these days - two songs which used to deliver a lot of punch - just dampens that atmosphere now somewhat as they're so diluted. I'd hate to see a Subculture or a Face Up return and be given the lightweight treatment.

Well, maybe it's about time they do it!!!
And maybe they could rework several of these songs to add more "punch" to them, as suggested Allan. Like I once said on this site, I would love them to do what the Pet Shop Boys (sacrilege! I named them!) did with their older stuff on their 1999 tour (Nightlife Tour). Songs like West End Girls and Being Boring looked very fresh and sounded very heavy.
I read later that these versions were made by a german producer/musician named Peter Schwartz. I'd love to see him have his take at reprogramming the dancey New Order stuff.
I'd love for them to do more of their dance hits. I personally would love to see Perfect Kiss on the next tour, but will Barney still be capable of singing those high pitched vocals?
Also, if they want an impact, get rid of that bad True Faith mix they've been playin the past few years and just play the original with the classic drum beats at the start, people come to see true faith, not some shoddy remix.
As for the album, I can't wait.
