I prefer the original versions.

This is like the difference between shagging your partner or watching a porno with your parents. The one you are comfortable with, the other makes you squirm a bit, never mind how old you are!

Wish they'd drop them altogether. They won't, so I would have to vote for the old versions. Perfecto intro = piss/beer break to me!

I'd really like to seem them back. In their original form. The original BLT was/is in my New Order top 10. Absolutely love it. But not anymore. And the best thing about True Faith was the way it came crashing in at the start. To be blunt, they've crushed both songs now, I can't relate to either number. Not aimed at the boys down the front now, more towards the floating audience at the back of venues who might now just shake a leg to either number. It's not gonna kick-off for either track now, they've sanitised both completely. Cunters!

Original and best IMO.

both NO-classics but i'm a bit sick of hearing them live! They should rehearse some not-played-before-stuff like Primitive Notion, Here To Stay and so on! :moose:

They should drop these songs for the next tour, but since they won't, I have to vote for the old versions.

The pre-recorded intros of these new versions, as well as those of other classic songs (like Regret and Crystal) really sound ridiculous live. They should play Crystal without the piano intro, and change the intro of Regret as well.

Amen to that. What'd be great would be if they played all the songs from the new album, plus some rotated greatest hits, rather than greatest hits plus some rotated new album tracks, like they did to a certain extent in 2001/02.

I swear now though that if they open Crystal/Transmission/Regret, I am walking out.

You up for the Brussels meet-up on Friday 11th Ben? We're staying on Bvd Anspach, and will be partaking at any recommended holes. Let me know.

Definitely the old ones, will admit to a liking for Temptation 98 though... :)

The originals, no doubt whatsoever.

What seems baffeling is that programming the Perfecto version of True Faith seems more complicated than the original, but only New Order *ahem*..Roger Lyons :uhoh: knows for sure..

Blue Monday should be tossed, Temptation should air every other show (including the one that I see :D ) in order to keep it fresh..

Why not throw in an oldie like Shellshock or Vanishing Point, or for fook's sake, This Time of Night or 586!

Don't mind BLt, but that Perfecto True Faith version has to go. It just takes forever to build upto the actual song.

I don't mind when live versions of songs sound completely different from the originals, as long as the band intends to do them that way, as opposed to the band seriously messing up. I think the "newer" version of True Faith sounds good, but different. It's not the original, but it's not like they're trying to perform the Substance version of Subculture. Now, if they performed the Brotherhood version of BLT, that would make more sense, but the remix live is just Gillian and Steve hholding down some keys, and Hooky has the easiest bass solo of his career somewhere in the middle.

I'd trade them both in for Broken Promise and/or Sunrise live.
