New Order with Moby at the Area: Three Music Festival?

That is, if there's going to be an Area: Three Music Festival. I'm sure they would be more than welcome considering Moby loves New Order. But do you think New Order would do another Area Festival with Moby? And would you rather New Order do that, or have their own North American tour?

Just some thoughts...

Given the way the costs work out in arranging and promoting tours in the US, it would make far more economic sense to New Order for them to piggyback someone else's promotion (in this case Moby's), and allowing that to sell itself in return for a guaranteed appearance sum, rather than having to organise and promote their own tour (and the financial risks that come with it).

I suspect that this may be why they haven't toured as such in places other than the UK since 1993. Guaranteed festival payouts are a much safer way of doing things in different countries!

Moby pulled the plug on the Area Festival in 2003.. do you really thinkg he's going to do another one? he would have done it in 2004....

However, check closely where the Chemical Brothers are going, since they use the same road crew, it might give you some clues. (I'm quoting Tim here :evil4: )

And why not a three ticket bill, with the Chem Bros, New Order and Moby ?

It would be a bit like 1989 when New Order toured with PiL and Echo and The Bunnymen...
