Factory cassette boxes....

A little info needed ..just in the process of collecting the White/purple .."linen" cassette boxes ...Was one issued for Technique ...Ive consulted the discography ..doesnt seem to be one ,but got it in my head that one was issued.If this is not the case why was one not issued,with Technique being the most popular album..?

No there isn`t one,i think the most likely reason for this is because Factory released a DAT tape instead. Which if your interested 'Technique' and 'Substance' DAT tapes are both on eBay now.

Ah...the futures bright ..the futures DAT....;)sounds about right for Factory.. cheers steve ...

And i think at the time there were not too many,if any,commercial available DAT players.What a BRILLIANT idea.DAT WON'T PLAY!

if you want a complete collection dont forget to get the brotherhood with metallic insert as well as the normal one & the notched & un-notched versions!

Ok..nothing straight forward with new Order...Un notched and notched?..Does the metallic version come in the un notched box? I picked up Movement ,PCL,Brotherhood and Substance for £12.50...but they are all notched.No mettallic finish.....

If in doubt Howie - I think you should just close your eyes & listen to the music - otherwise all the packaging could drive you a bit mad

i only have the one non notched one - low life - as shown here.

I have cassetes for P C & L, Low Life, Brotherhood, Substance, but no fancy boxes

I better go check all my linen boxes ( somewhere in my garage ) to see if I have any 'un-notched' ones as I can roughly recall I have all NO & JD ones bar one - CLOSER....and I have a few spare ones too.....but I definitely dont remember any of my brotherhood insert being metallic!!!??? ( I have only the metallic covered CD & LP ) ...Damn, I wasnt aware there is metallic insert for those BROTHERHOOD linen boxes...now, I cant sleep...
