Probably the WORST item i have ever owned.Complete CRAP.Must be a P1ss take surely.Glad someone here(HUNTSMAN) sent it me for nothing.To think i might have paid £5 for one of these.Rather like getting a JOB,when i get ONE i don't WANT it!How about you...do you ADMIRE it?:D

Yes its crap, but it shows what they were doing at the time - playing with machines trying to get something new - sounds like it was recorded on a dodgy old tape recorder in a livingroom

Now come on.. it was a special gift for people attending the Haçienda's opening... it's not like they made people pay for it !!
I got it free from sounds magazine when they interviewd NO in 1985, I also recieved a membership card for the hac, but it got nicked with my wallet while I was in a drunken stuper one night, well gutted even now!
the disc as everyone else has said is crap, but interesting to hear what they were playing around with and it's deffinately a piece of history I'm glad to own.
It was given away at the Hacienda christmas party not the opening night.I couldn't get there as all public transport shuts down at christmas.I always wanted the flexi disc and never got one so the first time I heard it in full was here online.It's worth having for us fanatics but not something I'd pay more than £1 for. I don't remember Sounds giving any away.At least I still have my first 2 years Hacienda membership cards.:)

Factory host their first Christmas Party at The Haçienda. New Order give away an exclusive flexi Merry Xmas From The Haçienda to all attendees. This includes the Ode to Joy on a noise box.
